Artist: Trolle//Siebenhaar
Album: Couple Therapy [2008]
Genre: trip.hop, pop, electronic

I really had no idea what to expect when I downloaded this. I knew absolutely nothing about the band, and looking at Duban's last.fm made me figure I might not care for it, since we have pretty low compatibility (19%). However, I decided to give the album at least one full listen, no matter what I thought about each song. I began listening and immediately thought the first song, "The Yard," was a nice, very chill, song. As the album went on, there were other songs I enjoyed as well. The album reminded me quite a bit of Jem's album Finally Woken, which makes sense, as it's in the same genre, and I quite liked that album as well. The lyrics of each song didn't particularly stick out to me, but the "feel" of each song was generally rather lovely.

The album probably won't hit make my top played playlist, not on any fault of its own, but simply because it's not where I am in my tastes at the moment. I know that a few years ago I probably would have simply adored this album, but at the moment it's something I might listen to when I'm in the mood.

Favorite songs: The Yard, Sunday Song, Clear Road

Rating: 8/10 (I can definitely see myself listening to this album again, but right now it's not a favorite)
